Privacy Policy Takagi Kogyo Co., Ltd. considers social contribution and compliance with laws and regulations to be our important corporate responsibilities.  Basic Policy on Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information

1. Collection & Use

(1) Collection

In conducting our business, we collect the following personal information (※1) from individuals through various opportunities such as application acceptance, survey research, negotiations, contract conclusion, etc., and also from publicly available media such as real estate registration records, commercial registration records, phone books, etc.

(※1) ‘Personal information’ refers to information about a living individual, which can identify a specific individual by the name, date of birth, and other descriptions included in the information (including those that can be easily collated with other information and can identify a specific individual), or which contains a personal identification code.

‘Information about an individual’ includes not only information that identifies an individual, such as name, gender, and date of birth, but also all information that expresses facts, judgments, and evaluations about an individual’s body, property, occupation, title, and attributes. It includes information that has been made public by evaluation information, publications, etc., and images and sounds, regardless of whether they are encrypted. ‘Personal identification code’ refers to any of the following characters, numbers, symbols, and other codes that are specified by a government ordinance (Personal Information Protection Law, Article 2, Paragraph 2).

(A) ‘Characters, numbers, symbols, and other codes that have been converted for use by electronic computers, which can identify a specific individual’s body part’ (for example, characters, numbers, symbols, etc., that have been converted for use by a computer, such as DNA, fingerprints, face, palm, back of hand, veins of fingers, gait, voiceprint, etc.)

(B) ‘Characters, numbers, symbols, and other codes that are assigned in relation to the use of services provided to individuals or the purchase of goods sold to individuals, or are listed on cards or other documents issued to individuals, or are recorded by electromagnetic means, and are assigned, listed, or recorded differently for each user, purchaser, or issuer, and can identify a specific user, purchaser, or issuer’ (for example, My Number, driver’s license number, passport number, basic pension number, health insurance card number, mobile phone number, credit card number, email address, or member ID for service provision, etc.)

(※2) When you use our services, when you come into contact with advertisements or content related to the service, or when you have cookies enabled (Cookies are a mechanism that allows website providers to temporarily write and store data on a visitor’s computer through a web browser.), we collect information about the PC, mobile phone terminal, tablet, and other information communication terminals you used, and information through cookies, etc. We collect the information described here from information communication terminals and cookies, etc., but this information is stored as your personal information only when you log in with your account.
