Established on September 1, 2023

Takagi Kogyo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “our company”) has established a ‘Social Media Policy’ (hereinafter referred to as “this policy”) for the operation of our social media official accounts (hereinafter referred to as “official accounts”) and the participation in social media by our employees (limited to participation in social media related to our business). In addition, we have established ‘Social Media Usage Regulations’ in our internal regulations as a concrete form of this policy.

The ‘official accounts’ defined in this policy refer to the social media accounts that our company operates and that have been registered under our company’s name, excluding social media accounts that have been registered under the names of our employees. Also, to indicate that they are our company’s social media official accounts, official accounts are labeled as ‘Takagi Kogyo Co., Ltd. Official Account’.

 

1. Purpose of Participating in Social Media

Our company and our employees aim to create a better society together by participating in social media, disseminating information about our business, and communicating with users who participate in social media.

 

2. Principles of Information Dissemination on Social Media

Our company and our employees have established the following principles for disseminating information on social media, understanding and taking responsibility for the characteristics of social media (information spreads instantly, disseminated information remains semi-permanently, etc.).

(1) Disseminate information with awareness and responsibility as a member of society

(2) Comply with laws and internal regulations

(3) Respect the rights of third parties (including corporations), such as basic human rights, portrait rights, privacy rights (including personal information), copyright, etc., and do not infringe upon them

(4) Be careful not to disseminate incorrect information and strive not to use expressions that may lead to misunderstandings

(5) If incorrect information is disseminated or an expression that may lead to misunderstanding is used, apologize and correct it promptly"

 Official Account Community Guidelines

Takagi Kogyo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) has established these Official Account Community Guidelines to facilitate better communication with users of our social media official accounts (hereinafter referred to as “official accounts”).

 

1. Disclaimer for Official Accounts

Please note the following disclaimers for the official accounts operated by the Company:

(1) Information disseminated from official accounts is intended for quick and simple information sharing and does not necessarily represent the Company’s official announcements or views. The Company’s official announcements and views are made on the Company’s website and in news releases.

(2) The Company assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred as a result of users using information disseminated by official accounts, users using official accounts, or users being unable to use official accounts for any reason.

(3) The Company assumes no responsibility for ‘replies’, ‘retweets’, ‘comments’, etc., posted by users to official accounts.

(4) As a rule, we do not reply individually to posts received from users.

(5) The Company assumes no responsibility for any troubles or damages arising between users of official accounts or between users and third parties.

(6) We are unable to answer technical questions about the use of each social media.

(7) The operation of official accounts may be terminated or deleted without notice.

 

2. Prohibited Acts for Official Accounts

When using this account, please refrain from the following actions. If a user’s post (comments, images, videos, links, other content) falls under the following actions, we may delete it without prior notice to the user (including blocking the posting account and unfollowing).

(1) Acts of identifying, disclosing, or leaking personal information of other users or third parties without their consent

(2) Acts that cause damage to the Company, other users, or other third parties, or defame, slander, or damage their honor or credit

(3) Acts of tampering with information provided through this account

(4) Acts of profit-making or advertising through this account or in connection with this account without the Company’s approval

(5) Acts that infringe on the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company, other users, or other third parties

(6) Acts or provision of information that violates laws or public order and morals

(7) Acts of providing information containing obscene expressions or discriminatory expressions

(8) Political activities, election campaigns, religious activities, or similar acts

(9) Acts that hinder the operation of this account

(10) Acts that violate the terms of use of each social media

(11) Acts of posting unrelated to the purpose of this account

(12) Other acts that the Company deems inappropriate

 

3. Changes to the Guidelines

The Company may change these guidelines without notice.

 

4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These guidelines shall be governed by Japanese law, and the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance for any disputes arising in relation to these guidelines and the use of the Company’s official accounts."
